It was the best option for calling long distance for free. About 4 months ago, I gave in and opted for the $2.95 per month option because I had a need to call friends and family that had no idea what skype was. At just $3 per month, I am saving about $25 to $30 per month on the long distance charges I was accumulating each month using my regular home phone line before finding skype. I have no complaints with the their service. The only thing I can say is that you definately need an external microphone and headset if your going to be talking for more than a few minutes.
