Hi, I'm very interested in Linux but Im a Super Newbie and I'm having trouble deciding on the right distribution for me (Havent you heard this a million times?) anyway here is my problem, I need a distribution that can switch between reading and writing in English and Japanese (Japanese Language Support) with out restarting the operating system.

I use phone power as my VoIP service and have been incredibly happy - I'm using the 14.95 unlimited monthly plan. No complaints so far - totally recommend if you're looking to save money.

I opted for the prepaid plan with a year for free. Big savings over what I was paying for vonage phone service. I am quite pleased with everything with my phone service. I like knowing I can call my sister as many times as I want and talk for as long as I want without worrying about per minute charges. The service wasn't working a few weekends ago and it did take a few calls to phone power to get it going again. Other than that isolated incidence, I am happy with the internet phone service from phone power.

Time Warner wants about $30 per month for their digital phone service. Phone Power is offering the 12 months free promotion, which seems like a much better deal. It took a week to get the phone adapter shipped to me, but was very simple to install into my current home network. The line quality is quite good so far. Every once in a while I don't get a dial tone, but that is quickly fixed by just hanging up and trying again. Customer service is OK, but nothing to be overly impressed with. For the money, it's exactly what I was looking for.
